Lahore, November 29, 2016 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 16600 cusecs and Outflows 55000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 7900 cusecs and Outflows 7900 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 5800 cusecs and Outflows 36000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 6700 cusecs and Outflows 3000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 74100 cusecs and Outflows 67100 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 57600 cusecs and Outflows 59000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 56300 cusecs and Outflows 47700 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 10900 cusecs and Outflows Nil, Guddu: Inflows 47200 cusecs and Outflows 40400 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 35100 cusecs and Outflows 5000 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 5500 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1452.77 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 1.603 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1150.15 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 1.989 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 644.20 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.120 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
